Indianapolis Stage Race, Aug 26-27

The The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana Sports Program (RHISP) along with Breakaway Promotions, LLC is excited to announce the inclusion of handcycling into the Indiana Stage Race taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana on Aug. 26 and 27.

Road Race, Saturday, 8/26
The first stage consists of a 2.5 mile road race course in beautiful Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park on Sat., Aug. 26.

Time Trial, Saturday, 8/26
That afternoon, the riders will test themselves on a 5 mile TT on the fun and fast Fall Creek Parkway.

Criterium, Sunday, 8/27
On Sun., Aug. 27, the series finishes with its third stage, a 1.3 mile criteriium at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

This race is a regional event as part of the USHF American Handcycle Series. There will be five $100 travel stipends available to out of town racers, given on a first come, first served basis. There will be five additional $25 stipends for local racer.

RHISP and Breakaway Promotions are pleased with the partnership developed to incorporate handcycling into the already well established Indiana Race Series (IRS), the state's premiere cycling race series.
