Oz Sanchez (Challenge Athlete's Foundation) bounced back to win Friday's road race at the Redlands Bicycle Classic. The 17 mile course was virtually flat, and favored the powerful Sanchez, who won by more than 3-minutes in front of the previous day's hill climb time trial winner, Scott McNeice (Invacare).

David Lee again showed tremendous form, winning the longseat road race in great solo fashion, and Gerard Ah Fook teamed-up with Carlos Moleda to ride well on the new course in the city of Beaumont. Dan Davies (Team PossAbilities), who was hurt on the job as a police officer a year ago, rode well and was escorted across the finish line by many of his law enforcement colleagues.
More details are on the way, as soon as we can publish them!
Wow. Looks like Oz had a score to settle in the road race. The crit will be exciting, and there is sure to be a sprint finish. I'm gonna try to catch the live feed. Scott and Oz went back and forth all last year, so it will be interesting to see the tactics in Sunday's race. Great job to everyone that went out there to Redlands. It is a fantastic event. I'll be there next year!
