The Wichita Cyclefest — May 5-7 — is now part of the American Handcycle Series (AHS) and will be the third event of the season. The event will be part of the “local race” category and athletes who participate will earn points toward the AHS national ranking.

The AHS is promoted and administered by the U.S. Handcycling Federation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Evergreen, CO. Part of Wheelchair Sports, USA, the USHF works with U.S. Paralympics to develop programs, events, and athletes to participate in adaptive cycling.
